Late Summer Post

HI, Meeblings:

Just got back from Kansas City– first big trip, first aeroplane flights, first time away from home (but Binks-Dad was with us).We visited with Grampa for a month– he was awesome. It was hot, there.

Franti has a great beat, better lyrics, and it’s a happy song. OK– now to a pop/hip-hop song.

Sean Kingston – Fire Burning

He’s  an awesome singer, and I like this song a lot. This song was even #1 on iTunes for a while. More music here, and his bio is here.

This Summer, I also learned about Christian rapper Toby Mac from while I was in Missouri. His album Diverse City is really sweet, and his music rocks.

We Got To Pray

Since we did lots of praying this Summer while travelling, how’s about a prayer for travellers?

O GOD our heavenly Father, who art present in thy power in every place: Preserve, we beseech thee, all who travel by land, water, or air [especially those for whom our prayers are desired]; surround them with thy loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring the in safety to their journey’s end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
