Late Summer Post

HI, Meeblings:

Just got back from Kansas City– first big trip, first aeroplane flights, first time away from home (but Binks-Dad was with us).We visited with Grampa for a month– he was awesome. It was hot, there.

He’s  an awesome singer, and I like this song a lot. This song was even #1 on iTunes for a while. More music here, and his bio is here.

This Summer, I also learned about Christian rapper Toby Mac from while I was in Missouri. His album Diverse City is really sweet, and his music rocks.

Since we did lots of praying this Summer while travelling, how’s about a prayer for travellers?

O GOD our heavenly Father, who art present in thy power in every place: Preserve, we beseech thee, all who travel by land, water, or air [especially those for whom our prayers are desired]; surround them with thy loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring the in safety to their journey’s end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. A Belated Happy Easter Posting

Hey Meebers!

Today is all about voting, and what kind of music videos you like, and other stuff like that. First, about Obama, the servant of his teleprompter:

OK, now I like rap/ hip-hop a lot. Today I’m at home sick (flu bug.. I hurt all over.. poor me.. Meebz-Dad is looking after me), and I watched a video that was totally lame, called– wait for it– ‘Birfday Suit‘. Painful. Made me laugh. Birf.. day.. suit. Birf.. day.. suit…

My fish Fincent is sick right now. Any prayers appreciated. He’s a ‘Beta’, though they used to be called Siamese Fighting Fish. Not ‘peaceful’ enough, I guess.

Another hip-hop song high on the Meebz list right now is “Maino Ft T-Pain – All The Above.” I really love this song a lot. Enjoy.

Speaking of ‘birfday’, my birfday (plus my twin, Steeb) is coming up soon. Send loot. I also got some cool stuff for Easter (aside from chocolate).. the Meebz-Mom is a super-shopper and got us name-brand goodness from discount stores, so I’ll be styling for the next few months. W00t!

For you South Park fans, I really loved this episode.. it was really weird, and funny. They are making fun of Kanye’s planet-size ego.

Fresh Meebzy Goodness

Hello, Meebz Minions!

It’s been a while, I know, but here’s a little fresh meebness…

Dad-Binks is always changing his computer desktop, and showed me how to find some online today. Here’s an easy link to find some, and you can add your desktop size (say 1200 x 800 pixels) in the search to find one just the right size. Then right-click on it, select ‘Set As Desktop background’, and there you go.

A Music Vid

Today’s tune is ‘Save Me’ by Simple Plan. I like this because it’s about real people, and doing something important about cancer and surviving it.

And a little while ago, The Dad-Binks listened to some cool Johnny Cash on YouTube. I even downloaded some on iTunes after that. I love ‘Hurt’, ‘Ring Of Fire’, and a bunch of other ones. His remake of ‘Hurt’ is sad, but he’s also saying sorry to God for all his sins. I’m glad to have learned about him and his music. We got there via ‘You Load 16 Tons’– the Steeb was singing it from somewhere or other, and then Dad got clicking away…. the rest is a blur. Go Johnny!

A Prayer

I like this one a lot.

Dear God,

So far today,
I’ve done all right.
I haven’t gossiped,
and I haven’t lost my temper.
I haven’t been grumpy,
nasty or selfish.

But in a few minutes, God,
I’m going to get out of bed
and that is when
I’m going to need a lot of help.

Today, I wan to put up a controversial song by Busta Ryhymes, some funny signage, and maybe a prayer or so (in LATIN!).

OK, about Mr. Rhymes: “Galaxy FM suspends DJ over Busta Rhymes’s single Arab Money.” I think it’s wrong that anybody is in trouble because of this song. He’s not saying anything offensive about anybody, he was just making a cool song and a video. Being offended over nothing is just a way of getting attention, and getting TV and media stories. That’s pretty much it.

And here’s his racist evil single, ‘Arab Money’….

Hi Everyone:

This is my second blogpost, as you can see.. thanks to everybody for all of those comments! Hope you people out there enjoy this post.

First, a music video to let you know the kind of music I like: ‘Let It Rock’ by Li’l Wayne & Kevin Rudolf; and then Chris Cornell’s ‘Part Of Me’. I like these songs because Kevin doesn’t take the ‘B**’s & Ho’s road of some hip hop, but works with other artists. I like Chris because of his sense of cool rhythm.
